FAQ

Questions, answered

How does the platform fee work?
We charge 4.9% (minimum $0.50) when you top up credits. Model usage itself is billed at provider list price, never marked up. Volume tiers lower the fee automatically as your monthly top-ups grow.
Do credits expire?
No. Paid credits never expire. Buy once, use whenever, with no 12-month inactivity cliff.
What is the refund policy?
Unused credits are refundable within 30 days, minus payment processing costs.
Are model prices really the same as the providers'?
Yes. 100% pass-through at provider list price. Our only revenue on usage is the top-up fee above.
Do you train models on my data?
Never. SwitchGate is pure routing: no training, no fine-tuning, no weight hosting, ever.
