1. The service

SwitchGate AI provides an API gateway that routes your requests to third-party model providers and applies the governance controls you configure (budgets, model locks, tracing, prepaid keys). SwitchGate does not host or train models.

2. Accounts and keys

You are responsible for activity under your API keys. Usage by a leaked key is billable until the key is revoked; revocation is immediate in the console.

3. Billing

Model usage is billed at provider list price, pass-through. A platform fee of 4.9% (minimum $0.50) applies when you top up credits, with automatic volume tiers. Paid credits never expire. Unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase, minus payment processing costs.

4. Acceptable use

You must comply with the acceptable-use policies of each provider you route to, and with applicable law. We may suspend keys used for abuse, fraud, or attempts to circumvent provider safety systems.

5. Availability

We target high availability and publish live health on the status page. Pro and Team plans are provided as-is; Enterprise plans include an SLA with credit remedies.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwitchGate's aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. Model outputs are generated by third-party providers; you are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

7. Termination

You can close your account at any time; remaining credit balances are handled per the refund policy above. These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada.
