1. Who we are
SwitchGate AI ("SwitchGate", "we") is SwitchGate is a routing gateway: we forward your API requests to the model provider you select and return the response. Contact: [email protected].
2. What we collect
Account data: name, email, billing details, and organization settings. Request metadata: timestamps, model ID, token counts, computed cost, latency, and enforcement decisions (budgets, locks, kill switch); this powers the cost ledger you see. Request content: prompts and completions transit our infrastructure to be routed; content is retained only as needed to deliver the response and operate the optional semantic cache, and is never used for any other purpose.
3. What we never do
We never train models on your data, never fine-tune on it, never sell it, and never share it with third parties beyond the model provider you explicitly selected for a given request.
4. Where data lives
Our infrastructure is hosted in Canada. We design for compliance with Quebec's Loi 25 and the GDPR, including data subject access, correction, and deletion rights. Enterprise plans offer additional data residency options.
5. Subprocessors
Model providers you route to (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Mistral, Groq, AWS Bedrock) process request content under their own API terms. Our payment processor handles billing information; we do not store full card numbers.
6. Retention & deletion
Request metadata is retained for your ledger for the life of your account or until you delete it. Cached content under token economy mode expires automatically. You can request full account deletion at any time at [email protected].
7. Changes
We will notify account owners by email before material changes to this policy take effect.
